Ron Heacock lives with his wife, Karen Walasek, and her loyal service dog, Finn(2). They live at HillHouse Farms in the hills of southern Tennessee. Ron spent many years as a performing songwriter and has shared the stage with such notable artists as Alan Ginsberg and Pete Seeger. His work has been published in Connotation, PaperTape, LIMN, Gallmaufry, Nailed, Cease Cows and The Pitkin Review. His collected short stories, Hey, This is it. I’m Going to Die, was published in 2014 by Libros Igni. He has been a fiction editor for the Elohi Gadugi Journal and has an MFA in creative writing from Goddard College.
